Sigma Phi Epsilon

Massachusetts Alpha

What Is SigEp?

Sigma Phi Epsilon is the largest national fraternity, with over 300,000 brothers across 342 universities. It also has the highest GPA of any national fraternity.

The  Massachusetts Alpha Chapter was founded at UMass in 1912. Ever since, the Brothers of SigEp Mass Alpha are constantly striving to help each other become better individuals, and contribute to both the University and Amherst Community. Our chapter has an average GPA of 3.4, and has leaders across campus in FTK, Entrepreneurship club, Paintball Club, and more.

The fraternity’s focus is the Balanced Man ideal of Sound Mind and Sound Body. The Balanced Man Program is a no-pledging, four year experience focused on scholarship, leadership, and life skills.

Donate to our chapter to help us continue SigEp’s tradition of building balanced men.
